You are a Spiritual Being. You are aware of and believe in God and seeking guidance from “On High” (Source) and that is good.
Yes, the Bible has been so misused that most don’t want to even open it up. However, it should be studied from a True Spiritual perspective (the perspective from where it was Inspired).
The Bible is Inspired writings with much deeper meaning than just the words on the page. Most read the words, memorize them and completely miss the underlying Spiritual message.
We have become so externally focused that we think (intellectualize) a group of words is the message. However, I like to say the message is between the words.
The Spiritual aspects/ Meanings in the Bible are timeless. Spirituality doesn’t change and requires no acknowledgement by us to exist. To get a glimpse of the message in the written Word, one must approach its study and application with a pure heart( intention). It is encrypted in the most pleasing and satisfying algorithm of Truth. Any other approach just misses the mark.
So now, the thing to do is to seek the Spiritual meaning and be amazed at what is revealed.
